Welcome to the Devon Lunatics Hash Newsletter View this email in your browser NEXT LUNATICS HASH: Friday 9th June, 7:30 Young Farmers Club Car Park OD Thatch Inn (opposite CP) Cheriton Bishop Woody     This is the first mailshot for the new monthly newsletter for the Devon Lunatics Hash House Harriers. Numbers have been dwindling and joint runs with other hashes has not helped retain our unique character. In order to address this we are going to trial for 6 months setting trails on the closest Friday or Saturday night to the Full Moon, in this way we will not be competing with established hashes for people joining our runs. Ideally we want as many Devon Hashes as possible to be able to join us, therefore, whenever possible we will aim to have venues close to the A38 corridor. What we need now is for you to circulate this email to other hashers who might like to attend some of our hashes and for them to join our mailing list. In this way every month we will let you know where the next trail will be. If you would like to volunteer to lay a trail then please reply to this email with date, venue and On Down if different. The 4+ mile trail was laid by No Butt and Bogof. Below are some photos taken on trail:               Mouthful is one of the few to do Fish Hooks, completing 4.8 compared to my 4 miles, as he also checked the wrong way at every check (don't ask him to suggest lottery numbers).             Above we see the Down Downs. Bogof was nominated as Lunatic of the Month (Pillock would have been another good title for the award). The previous Wednesday he called off our regular cinema night due to another commitment, assuring Rambo that they would see Guardians of The Galaxy 2 the following week.
