Widecombe Way, Exeter - Hole-in-1 and Fallen Boobies - 27th November 2016

Words by Bollards...

A small pack gathered outside Holeonone’s House, lured by the promise of sausages and tea/coffee (but only if you brought your own mug).  Although Holeinone had laid the trail, Fallen Boobies, who had recently celebrated his Birthday, was made to hare it as Holeinone was required to stay at home to cook the aforementioned sausages while everyone else was out on trail.  There were two newcomers, Fallen Boobies girlfriend and Holeinone’s friend, Pippa.
The “two and on” trail was well laid, with nice clear marks.  There was an absence of FRBs which left the checking to those less athletic.   Stingray, Speedy and Rocky did a great job on the checks and Bell Toll, Stix, the boys and me seemed to catch most of the fish-hooks too.
The trail took us out of the Estate into Mincinglake Park via a long/short split.  The Sweetie Stop was in the play park but unusually, there wasn’t much hash activity on the obstacles.  The trail continued past the scout hut and with a long loop around the park before finding the on-home back on the road.

There was plenty of food, including banana ketchup and tandoori sausages.  The AGM followed.

Minutes from the AGM are available here

Please don't forget to RATE THE HASH, and help decide who gets 'lay of the year'.
